The Marketplaces Specialist coordinates operations, marketing and sales functions with respect to KontrolFreek’s global marketplaces business. This position reports to the Marketplaces Manager. This role is responsible for working cross-functionally with internal teams to keep KontrolFreek’s global marketplaces activity active and productive, meeting and exceeding forecasts and goals.
Manage product inventory across global marketplaces.
Manage and optimize product listings with product details, titles, images and content.
Execute advertising initiatives for marketplaces according to global strategy. Report on advertising performance to ensure ROAS goals and efficiency of spend.
Work with internal brand and creative team to execute creative initiatives.
Work with internal teams to ensure language localization and international initiatives are carried out, globally.
Assist in the planning and execution of entry into new markets and marketplaces.
Remain informed, and inform stakeholders of the latest policies, opportunities, changes and risks among the global marketplace landscape.
Coordinate the generation of daily, weekly and monthly reports that provide visibility into marketplace sales, marketing and inventory.
Plan and execute strategy on non-Amazon marketplaces, including eBay and others
Plan, execute and report on intellectual property infringements, including unauthorized seller and counterfeit activities.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, operations or a related field.
1-3 years of experience managing listings and sales in a marketplace or ecommerce environment.
Experience with Amazon Seller Central and familiarity with the range of services and opportunities available to sellers on Amazon marketplaces.
Solid understanding of current best practices in digital marketing and/or communications.
Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written/verbal communications skills.
Detail oriented with strong organization skills.
Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel, plus the ability to quickly learn and work with new systems and software.
Determined work ethic with a high degree of attention to detail, intellectual motivation, and data-driven mentality.
Written proficiency one of the following languages a plus: Spanish, German, Italian, French, Japanese.
Interest or experience in the video games industry a plus
