Job Responsibilities

KontrolFreek is seeking an organized, resourceful, fast-learning and multi-talented individual to manage our growing global eCommerce marketplace channel. KontrolFreek Performance Gaming Gear is available across more than a dozen marketplaces, including Amazon eBay and their international equivalents.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and implement product, pricing, placement and promotion strategies across existing and forthcoming marketplaces.
  • Manage and optimize product listings with correct product details, titles, images, and keyword strategies.
  • Manage and execute advertising initiatives for marketplaces.  Optimize sponsored product ad campaigns to drive revenue while managing to budget. Report on advertising performance to ensure ROI goals are being met in all territories.
  • Manage branded Amazon storefronts.  Work with internal product and creative teams to maximize new product releases and manage language localization for international markets. Report on storefront usage and behavioral data to optimize user experience and increase conversion rate.
  • Lead sales planning, inventory management and forecasting across all marketplaces, with special attention to the impact of marketing beats, seasonality, and buying trends. Provide forecasts for launch and replenishment of product line.
  • Keep the company ahead of the curve with respect to policies, opportunities, changes, and risks within each marketplace, and provide observations and recommendations.
  • Drive company competitive landscape assessments in marketplaces.  Monitor buy box ownership and drive initiatives to ensure KontrolFreek is in the lead position at all times. Lead company efforts to address counterfeit issues throughout marketplaces.
  • Monitor buyer feedback and reviews to improve customer experience, maximize feedback rating, and ensure we maintain Top Rated Seller status.
  • Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports that provide territory- and marketplace-level visibility into product performance, inventory levels, and buy-box ownership.
  • Lead company efforts to expand into new marketplaces, assessing logistical requirements, margins, opportunity vs. risk, and more.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, operations or related field.
  • Two or more years of experience managing listings and sales via online marketplaces such as Amazon.com, Walmart.com, eBay and more.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and familiarity with the range of services and opportunities available to sellers on Amazon marketplaces.
  • Experience with opening new marketplace channels preferred.
  • Exposure to selling or marketing digitally in European or Asia-Pacific territories a plus.
  • Solid understanding of current best practices in digital marketing/communications.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to clearly articulate and implement a focused plan.
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to meet critical deadlines in a fluid, fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent written/verbal communications skills. 
  • Detail oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, plus the ability to quickly learn and work with new systems and software.
  • Determined work ethic with a high degree of attention to detail, intellectual motivation, and data-driven mentality.
  • Interest or experience in the video games industry a plus.
